What happened
Park Dental, a dental group with offices in Minnesota and Wisconsin, found unauthorized activity in employee accounts around January 23, 2024 and sent notices in August 2024. Names, medical, Social Security, driver's license, birth date and payment details may have been exposed, though most people only had an internal ID number involved.
Who can claim from the Park Dental (PDG, P.A.) settlement?
Living US individuals whose private information may have been compromised in the January 2024 Park Dental data security incident. Park Dental directors, officers and agents are excluded.
How much can I get?
Documented losses: up to $2,500. Lost time: $15 an hour for up to 4 hours ($60), only for people whose Social Security and driver's license numbers were involved; instead of documented losses. Also: One year of Cyex Financial Shield Complete monitoring with $1 million identity theft insurance for all class members; no overall cap, so approved claims are not reduced.
Do I need proof?
Proof only for out-of-pocket losses. Keep receipts if you want to claim documented losses too.
When will I get paid?
Payments start after the court grants final approval (hearing Feb 1, 2027) and any appeals end, often several months later.
Is the settlement website legit?
