How we check facts
Teollimi started in Korea as a free tracker of data breaches confirmed by the press or official notices. The English edition applies the same rules to breaches and class action settlements that affect people in the US, UK, Canada and Australia.
Where the facts come from
- Breach notices filed with state attorneys general (California, Washington and others), SEC filings and regulator portals.
- Company statements and reputable news reports.
- Settlement terms from the court-approved settlement website or court documents. Deadlines and amounts are checked there before a page goes up.
- Breach metadata from Have I Been Pwned (CC BY 4.0), linked where a breach is listed there.
Labels
Confirmed means the company or a regulator filing says it happened. Reported means reputable press reported it and the company has not confirmed it. Claims posted only by hacking groups are not published.
What we are not
We are not a law firm, do not file claims for anyone and are not paid by settlement administrators or law firms. Filing a settlement claim is free; use only the official site linked on each page.
Corrections
