Seoul Volunteer Center data breach (Sep 2026)
What happened
The Seoul Volunteer Center's online education platform 'V-Class' was hacked, exposing members' IDs, names, email addresses, passwords, and phone numbers, though the passwords and phone numbers were encrypted and no resident registration numbers or financial information were collected. After the attacker installed a web shell and gained database access, the operator added two-factor authentication to the admin page.
