What happened

Dodo Pizza, a Russia-based chain with about 1,500 restaurants in 28 countries, said hackers attacked its IT systems on September 27–28, 2026 and may have accessed some customers' names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, dates of birth and order details. The company says it does not store payment data, so card details were not affected, and that it has blocked the attackers and notified Russia's regulator Roskomnadzor. Its international unit, Dodo Brands International, also notified Turkey's data protection authority, which lists identity, contact, location, transaction and financial data and says the number of people is still being determined. A group called DataSuckers claims to hold records on 68 million customers in several countries; that figure has not been verified.

What should I do?

  1. Expect phishing calls, texts and emails that mention your past Dodo Pizza orders or address, and do not share codes or card details with anyone who contacts you.
  2. If you used your Dodo Pizza password on other sites, change it there.
  3. Watch for SIM-swap attempts or login codes you did not request on accounts tied to the same phone number.
